WHO Has Banned The Use Of Ivermectin
WHO, the World Health Organization has said that coronary heart disease should not be treated without the use of ivermectin. For the second time in two months, WHO banned the drug without a trial.
Soumya Swaminathan, chief scientist of the World Health Organization, tweeted this. “How safe and effective it is to use a drug,” he tweeted. The World Health Organization has banned the use of ivermectin in cases other than trials.
The German pharmaceutical company Mark has issued a similar warning. They said in a statement, “So far, our research has shown no evidence that Ivermectin is effective in treating patients.” Apart from that, a harmful aspect of the use of this drug has also come up in the study. So it is advised not to use this drug. Soumya also highlighted Mark’s statement with her own tweet.
Earlier in March, the World Health Organization (WHO) said in a statement that it had not yet received any information on whether corona patients would benefit from ivermectin. So the company is advising not to use this drug.
Last month, however, the Union Ministry of Health approved the use of ivermectin to reduce fever. The Goa government has also allowed the use of this drug in the treatment of the victims. This World Health Organization guideline raises questions about the use of ivermectin.
