A voter is stubborn to take selfies with actress-MP Mimi Chakraborty even after being banned more than once. Despite the actress being banned, he tried to take selfies not once, but twice. And this is the danger. The Election Commission removed the voter as soon as it came to know about the matter. Another voter was employed at that place. The incident took place on Saturday at booth number 155 in Pandapara, Jalpaiguri.
Actress Mimi, the ‘daughter of the house’ of Jalpaiguri Pandapara, came to vote at booth number 155 this afternoon. When he saw her entering, a young voter went out of the booth to take a selfie during the polling. The actress forbade him as soon as he saw the matter. Mimi said you will be in trouble, you will be in trouble too. But, who cares. When Mimi went out to vote, the poll worker left the voting work again and took a selfie with her. In this situation, the star MP of the Trinamool became quite uncomfortable. He then somehow managed to get out of the polling station. But after a while, the matter came to the notice of the Election Commission through various means. The commission immediately removed the voter. Another voter was sent to the booth in his place.
Jalpaiguri District Magistrate Moumita Godara Basu said, “We immediately removed the officer.” There will be a detailed investigation into the matter during the polls. Action will be taken in accordance with the guidelines of the Election Commission.
