The Prime Minister did not tweet on Yogi’s birthday this year. Not just Modi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also tweeted that he did not wish Yogi Adityanath a happy birthday.
On June 5 last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “Happy birthday to Yogi Adityanath, the progressive and hardworking Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Under his leadership, the state is reaching new heights of development. ”
In the Yogi cabinet, Prime Minister Modi wants to give a place to his confidant, former PM’s bureaucrat Arvind Kumar Sharma, and there has been speculation that this has led to a clash between the Modi camp and the Yogi Adityanath camp. That speculation has been further intensified by the Prime Minister not wishing Yogi a happy birthday.A source in the Uttar Pradesh government claimed that Modi and Shah had greeted Yogi Adityanath over the phone, though they did not greet him publicly.
However, neither the Prime Minister’s Office in Delhi nor the Chief Minister’s Office in Lucknow has officially commented on the matter. According to a BJP source, Modi may not have tweeted because of Twitter’s legal conflict with the Center. The Prime Minister, however, tweeted about Environment Day today. Rajnath Singh and other BJP leaders and ministers, however, greeted Yogi by tweeting.
Another BJP source argues, not just Yogi. In the last one and a half to two months, the Prime Minister has not greeted anyone on Twitter. Among them are Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Thawar Chand Gahlaut and Haryana Chief Minister Manoharlal Khattar. The Prime Minister also did not greet them on Twitter. A source in the party said that the death of a large number of people in Covid in the country was the reason for Modi’s dislike for the tweet.

Like the Modi government at the Center, the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh has failed to cope with the second push of Covid. RSS and BJP leaders visited Uttar Pradesh and spoke to state leaders to seek their views. They have noticed that many BJP MLAs are angry with the bureaucracy of Yogi. The situation in Uttar Pradesh has also been discussed at a meeting of the union’s top leaders in Delhi over the past three days. BJP leaders have made it clear that the BJP, led by Yogi, will go to the polls next year. However, BJP sources said that Modi’s confidant Arvind Kumar Sharma may be brought into the cabinet to enhance administrative skills in the state. Many also think that one of the two current deputy chief ministers could be removed and made the deputy chief minister. BJP sources claim that Yogi Adityanath has strongly objected to this, considering it as Modi’s surveillance.
According to the RSS leadership, during the second wave of Covid, the BJP, the RSS could not do the job of public service properly. When the third wave comes, it must be corrected. Today, Yogi Adityanath instructed the administration to identify the children who lost their parents as a result of Covid on his birthday and arrange for their education. BJP state president Swatantradev Singh also held a meeting with district presidents and directed them to take the organization to public service.
