The late 75-year-old actress Surekha Sikri suffered a heart attack. He was suffering from various physical problems for several years. After suffering a stroke in 2018, Surekha became paralyzed.
Surekha Sikri was hospitalized again in 2020 after suffering a brain stroke. The three-time national award-winning actress breathed her last on Friday morning.

Surekha Sikri was admitted to the hospital in September last year with a brain stroke. That’s when it became known that the actress was having financial problems. At that time, actor Sonu Sood, co-star Gajraj Rao and director Amit Sharma also came forward to respond to his request. But before being admitted to the hospital, the veteran actress did not reveal her financial situation even once. Rather, he sought help to return to work.
Stage, small screen, big screen his travels were effortless. Surekha Sikri performance in the famous Hindi serial ‘Balika Badhu’ captivated the audience. He has been seen in multiple films – ‘Tamas’, ‘Mammo’, ‘Badhai Ho’, ‘Jubeda’, Netflix’s ‘Ghost Stories’. The last time he went for a national award was for Badhai Ho. His body was not well at that time. Surekha received the award in a wheelchair.
